THE SUN IS OUR STRONGEST PARTNER.
It all begins when we get out of bed. We turn on the light, use an electric toothbrush, make coffee and toast – and take it all for granted. Nobody consciously thinks about what exactly happens when the light goes on, the coffee machine pours hot coffee into a cup or the radio plays our favorite song. It just works! It’s a luxury we are happy to accept; and why shouldn’t we?
Electricity is part of it all. It doesn’t merely provide structure for our everyday lives – it is what makes our lives possible in this form.
This is how we live today and a great deal of progress has been made in the past few years. There has been innovation and development in every imaginable field; and when something is good, we become accustomed to it very quickly. As soon as we have achieved a goal, we are already thinking about the next one; the next step onwards and upwards. That’s OK – we call it ‘progress’.
A life without electricity is unthinkable, which is why it is more important than ever to champion the concept of sustainability. Our solutions are all about the sun and its energy. Admittedly, we didn’t invent the sun, but we do take advantage of the benefits it offers.
The sun is our partner, and we haven’t even asked for permission. The sun’s been here from the very beginning and is on our side. The sun also gives us lots of great ideas and is actively involved in the implementation of these ideas. It is a source of inspiration and has made one thing particularly clear.
Today’s definition of progress involves becoming increasingly independent of gigantic companies that are no longer sure of what they are doing. Progress is about producing energy in a way that doesn’t pollute the environment. And, lastly and above all, progress is about only using the natural resources given to us by Mother Nature to the degree that they are available. Today the sun is our best employee. It has the best overview of all. By harnessing the power of the sun we are able to produce energy without exploiting other resources.
Here’s to a productive period of cooperation – for the benefit of the environment and the generations to come.
